Nostalgia

Oh!  My dear past

How ardently I yearn for you

At a younger age

Things were better

The atmosphere was laden with hopes

Tension and depression was strange

Travelling with no fear

Completely oblivious of injustices

Classism, never an issue

Then came growth with set back

Our norms and values completely reversed

Moral decadence becomes iconic

Nudity defines celebrities and civilization

Corruption is synonymous to leadership

And now I ask, how do we get back our lost glory?

The answer smiles glaringly at me
