The Ten Companions that were given the glad tidings of Jannah

Assalamu alaikum. Below is the list of the ten companions that were given the glad tidings of Jannah by the Prophet(saw) while they were still walking the face of earth. They are commonly referred to as  'Ashra Mubashra' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Abu Bakr will be in Paradise, ‘Umar will be in Paradise, ‘Uthman will be in Paradise, ‘Ali will be in Paradise, Talhah will be in Paradise, al-Zubayr will be in Paradise, ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf will be in Paradise, Sa'd will be in Paradise, Sa'eed will be in Paradise and Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn al-Jarraah will be in Paradise.” (Abu Dawud, 4649; al-Tirmidhi, 3747; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani).

2. Umar al-Faruq bn al-khattab (RA)

3. Uthman ibn Affan (RA)

4. Ali ibn Abu-Talib (RA)

5. Talha ibn Ubaydillah (RA)

6. Zubayr ibn al-Awwam (RA)

7. AbdurRahman ibn 'Awf (RA)

8. Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (RA)

9. Abu Ubayda, 'Aamir ibn 'Abdillah ibn al-Jarrah(RA)

10. Sa'id ibn Zayd (RA)

May Allah resurrect us in the ranks of the companions.
