Do We Castigate All non-Muslims for The Utterances Of Others Against Our Nabiy (saw)?

The beauty of Islam is such that Allaah did not paint the non-Muslims with the same brush, He made us know that among them there are sincere, honest and truthful ones. Allaah says: They are not all alike; of the followers of the Book (Jews and Christians) there is an upright party; they recite Allaah's communications in the night-time and they adore (Him)." Qur'an chapter 3; Surah Al-Imran verse 113.

Again in terms of honesty and trustworthiness Allaah says in respect to the Jews and the Christians; "And among the followers of the Book there are some such that if you entrust one (of them) with a heap of wealth, he shall pay it back to you...." Qur'an chapter 3; Surah Al-Imran verse 75.

A brilliant and an amazing statement from my Shaykh (Shaykh Sulaiman Moola) about the personality of our beloved Prophet(saw) would only add beauty to the topic. He said:

"We find respected brothers and sisters, one of the tragedies of our time is that the most evil and immoral people have become icons and celebrities. Youths flock towards them but again you will find that the social life of these celebrities is in total shambles.

The only human whose life has been groomed, nurtured and molded to perfection that it could reflect and manifest guidance to humanity in its entirety till the day of Qiyamat is the life of Muhammad(may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

We find in the galaxy of Prophets in its entirety their character was molded by Allaah. However, the difference is that the respected lives of other prophets were molded by Allaah, that it could reflect guidance to the people of their time. Hence, the life of Musa(may the peace of Allaah be on him) was molded by Allaah that the Israelites could relate to his life, the life of Shuaib (may the peace of Allaah be on him) was molded that the people of Midyan could relate to his life. But the life of Muhammad(may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was so uniquely fashioned by Allaah that the entire humanity could relate to his life to find guidance and navigation."

The Arab poet said: Shshaidal anaamu bi fadlihi hattal idaa; wal fadlu maa shshaidat bihil 'adaa'u- Humanity in its entirety was compelled to acknowledge the beauty of Nabiyy(may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to such an extent that even his enemies have to say as much as we hate him, there isn't a more honest man than him.

Let me take us through some amazing verdicts passed by non-Muslims on Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) in conformity to the above arab poetry.

"If a man like Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much needed peace and happiness." George Bernard Shaw

"Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was the soul of kindness and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him." (Diwan Chand Sharma: The Prophets of the east, Calcutta 1935, P. 122).

"I doubt whether if any man whose external conditions changes so much, ever changed himself less to meet them." (R.V.C. Bodley: The Messenger, London 1946).

"Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is the most successful of all prophets and religious personalities." (The Encyclopedia).

"The league of Nations founded by the Prophet (Muhammad) of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such a universal foundation as to show candle to other nations; the fact is no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of league of nations." Prof. Hurgronje.

"The Prophet's magnanimity to the Meccans was unparalleled in the history of wars as he declared all Meccans free and refused to shed or destroy or take any of their properties." George Bernard Shaw.

"Philosopher, creator, apostle, legislature, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational beliefs of a cult without images, the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and one spiritual empire (Islam). That is Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask is THERE ANY MAN GREATER THAN HE?" Hero and Hero worship: Thomas Carlyl.

And I conclude by the famous quote of George Bernard Shaw (an Irish playwright and a co-founder of the London School of Economics.), he said: "If any religion has a chance of ruling over England, nay, Europe, within the next 100years, it is Islam."

This is Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), learn about his life and you will only find guidance in it. Don't become a victim of propaganda warfare, it is designed to take your mind away from learning about his impeccable character. learn and perhaps if Allaah wills, you will have a share in Islam.

Allaah says to Muhammad (may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): "And have We not raised high your fame?" Qur'an 94: Surat Ash-Sharh: verse 4.
