Appreciating Time

Know that for every hour that you live, either Allaah is pleased with you in this hour (by your deeds) or the opposite, we seek refuge in Allaah from that.

Therefore (by this hour) either you come closer to Allaah or you stray further from Him -Make good use of your time in doing the right thing.

A person may weep within a moment in his life, regretting the evils of his past and this might privilege him with Allaah's pardon and forgiveness.

So what could we possibly have to offer Allaah in return for all His bounties and mercies upon us? Obedience (even though it increases Him not)

Allaah swore by Time in Qur'an 103.

By Al-'Asr ( The time)

Verily, man is loss,

Except those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, and recommend one another to the truth [i.e order one another to perform all kinds of good deeds (Al-Ma'ruf) which Allaah has ordained, and abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds (Al-Munkar) which Allaah has forbidden], and recommend one another to patience (for the sufferings, harms, and injuries which one may encounter in Allaah's Cause during preaching His religion of Islamic Monotheism or Jihad).

We woke up this morning with the ability to arrange our thought pattern to write and to read. Who is it that is safe-guarding our intellect? Allaah.

We woke up this morning with our hearing intact? Who is it that is safe-guarding our hearing? Allaah. So we need to listen to His Words.

We woke up this morning with our eyes intact. We is it that is safe-guarding our sight? Allaah. So we need to see His signs around us and reflect.

We woke up this morning with our feet intact. Who is it that is safeguarding it from being paralyzed? Allaah. So we need to walk to His House

We woke up this morning privileged to breath. Who is it that has kept our souls alive? Allaah. So don't oppress your soul by sinning.

In life you are subjected to two choices, whenever you are faced with a matter, you have the choice to either do it or not do it.

If you decide to go forth and do anything in this life, ask yourself, "Has Allaah permitted you to do this thing, or not?"

A person does not proceed with an action nor hold back from it, requesting Allah's Mercy (and counsel), except that he pleases his Lord in the process.

The greatest asset we have is our time, value it.

Allaah has placed the key to a pleasurable, amiable life, in a pleasurable, amiable relationship with Him

May Allaah favor us with a good life.
