Gems for the Seeker of Jannah

‎In the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

"And those who kept their duty to their Lord will be led to Paradise in groups, till, when they reach it, and its gates will be opened (before their arrival for their reception) and its keepers will say: Salamun 'Alaikum (peace be upon you)! You have done well, so enter here to abide therein." Q39:73

The great commentator of the Qur'an al-Haafidh ibn Katheer said the gates of paradise will be opened for the pious as a sign of honor, and the angelic gatekeepers will meet them with glad tidings, greetings and praise.

In Jannah, it is at the discretion of our imagination to think of whatever is dearest to us and such will be fulfilled at an instance.

If this is not enough to spur us to righteousness then I guess the following hadith of the Prophet (Pbuh) recorded by Bukhari and Muslim and also by Imam Ahmad on the strength of Abu Hurayrah (RA) would:

The Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) said: "The first group to enter Paradise will enter looking like the moon on the night when it is full. They will not spit there, or blow their noses, or defecate. Their vessels and combs will be of gold and silver, their censers will be of aloeswood and their sweat will be musk. Each of them will have two wives, the marrow of whose shin bones will be visible from beneath the skin because of their beauty. There will be no disputes between then and there will be no hatred; their hearts will be as if one heart. They will glorify Allaah morning and evening."

‎Brothers and sisters in Islam, the greatest loss is to lose the opportunity to make it to Jannah.

To earn the pleasure of Allaah is to avoid His displeasure.

‎Know that, sincerely repenting to Allaah privileges the most sinful person with prosperity in both the worlds.

‎In Jannah, there will be no depression and the fruits of Jannah will be brought close and they will not be restricted to seasons or weather.

No one enters Paradise except a Muslim soul whose deeds and words were good with an excellent effort to please Allaah at all times.
‎Suppress your lust for the sake of Allaah and see how Allaah will fulfil each and every goal of yours.

We ask Allaah to make us among the people of Jannah.‎
