Guard Your Lips!

In English they say:

Guard your lips when a child is near
For children repeat the things they hear

Let no ugly tone be heard

Nor callous talk nor angry words

For it's a gracious sin to mar the innocent

Language, vulgar or unkind, leave its mark upon the mind

So let your speech be mild and kind in the presence of a child

And I say:

Guard your lips when the angels are near

For angels record the things they hear

Let not shirk be committed

Nor Major sins nor repeated minor sins

For it's a great disrespect to allow the angels to record your evil

Evil intentions, ungodly deeds, find there way to our record books

So let your intentions and deeds be sincere in the presence of the recording angels
