The Destroyer of Good Deeds!

Whatever of mercy (i.e good), Allaah may grant to mankind, none can withhold it; and whatever He may withhold, none can grant it thereafter. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise- Q: 35 v 2.

What Allaah has written for a man no any creation of Allaah can stand as an obstacle.

Of all negative traits, Envy is the most just because it destroys the envious before it reaches the envied.

Beware of envy for it destroys good deeds just as fire destroys wood -Hadith

Envy appears to take over destiny.

When you are happy at other people's misfortune then you are envious of them and that's a minus factor against your faith.

Your soul is sick when you downgrade, avoid or defame people simply because they have something you are jealous of. Seek for Allaah's aid through patience and prayer.

Those who are envious are guilty of keeping enmity with the blessings of Allaah and they are simply accusing Allaah of injustice that they are more deserving of what He has given to others.

Envy is the worst of diseases for it eats away your religion.

You are healthy if envy is absent in your body for the envious person is permanently sick.

You are imprisoned if you harbor envy. You will cry when others are laughing and be awake when others are enjoying their sleep.

He who is in love with envy is in love with troubles for restlessness shall be his host.

An envious man comes to you as a friend but hides his malice behind his actions. He's an enemy in action. Beware!

There's a formula to convert all enmity to friendship except that which comes from envy.

'Isbr ala hasadil hasidi fa inna s sabruka qaatilahu' -Be patient on the envy of the envious one, for your patience will kill him.

Don't probe the wisdom of Allaah in what He has favored others with above you. And Envy no man except him who is good.

May Allaah save us from envy.
