Helping the needy for self-purification

In the Name of Allaah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. 

"He who gives of his wealth for self-purification. And who has (in mind) no favor from anyone to be paid back. Except to seek the Face of his Lord, the Most High. He, surely, will be pleased." Q92:18-21

The world is desperate for people that will serve others without personal ambition. 

Men can only be immortalized when they add value to the lives of others without expecting any reward or favor from them. 

The funeral procession of sincerity has left most of our minds that people only help others if they believe they will benefit from them.

When you help others don't look back at them, look for the next person to help until you meet the pleasure of Allaah.

Let everyman strive to give in charity with such secrecy that only Allaah knows.

The pious don't believe they help the poor rather they believe that they are the agents of Allaah that deliver what belongs to the poor hence, ‎when you help the needy and the orphan and the wayfarer pause and thank Allaah for giving you the opportunity to earn His Pleasure. 

When you help someone in need, be sure to raise his morale through kind words such that your kind words and gesture will prove more valuable to him than the material stuff.

Don't help the poor to get something in return from them. Rather help people to get something in return from Allaah. 

Spend your wealth with the sole aim of hoping to see Allaah in the final abode in the Gardens of Paradise. 

It's easy to spend but it's difficult to spend solely for the sake of Allaah. 

May Allaah make it easy for us to spend on others for His sake.

Allaahumma inna naudhubika an nushrika bika wa nahnu na'alamu wa nastaghfiruka limaa laa na'alamu-A dua against Riya (show-off)
